Mike V!!! vs the ducks.

Okay another time I should keep my mouth shut. Or in my mind it is… I dislike confrontation so much I can’t watch parking wars on the TV. And so, this site is always pics, and my opinions are just that, in my head not on the web. But I said my piece about Steve and the Berrics and he got back to me in seconds with the answer I wanted to here.

So next up, is a video of a hockey game thing. Its a ducks player handing a stick over the glass to some fans… well to a fan. A smaller girl. But the drunk fuck fan wants the stick over the girl and takes it.

watch.

Okay so the girl is Mike Vallely’s daughter. And that is Mike standing up for his daughter to the man in the blue shirt.

Mike is actually a small part of the Ducks team, he blogs for them, has season tickets, does demos, signs autograph and Im’ sure does as much as he can. He has always been a hockey fan and not afraid of confrontation like I am. Anyhoo, where am I going with this? Oh yeah the Ducks gave Mike the old “get the fuck out” after this shin dig … The Ducks dropped him from anything and everything they do. Even though 1) He was sticking up for his daughter at a hockey game to some drunks.
2)He punched the drunk and I’m sure he wasn’t the only person to throw punches.
and D) the Ducks do not condone such behavior. hahahha, now that’s a laugh man. Its hockey and each fan there gets just as excited over a goal as they do a fight between 2 players. Its more than condoned, but promoted. Players fight in hockey and we love it, as do the TV stations for ratings as do the teams for sales and excitement. This is what bumms me out the most. The ducks saying Mike V’s reaction was wrong and they do not back someone they help promote that sticks up for his family against a drunk schmuck who clearly was in the wrong.
Is that not what hockey fights are about? team mates sticking up for each other? and fighting over it at times?
The whole ducks team should be fired if Mike V was.

FTW.
